CrossInbox

Configure email sending (SMTP)

Send campaigns and transactional email from your own domain for better deliverability.

By default CrossInbox can send email for you, but connecting your own SMTP server means campaigns go out from your domain — which builds trust with recipients and improves inbox placement.

Details you will need from your email provider

  1. 1 SMTP host (for example smtp.yourprovider.com).
  2. 2 SMTP port (commonly 587 for TLS or 465 for SSL).
  3. 3 Username and password for the mailbox.
  4. 4 The from-address and from-name recipients should see.

Steps

  1. 1 Open My App and find the Email (SMTP) card, then click Configure.
  2. 2 Turn on custom SMTP and fill in the host, port, encryption, username, password, and from details.
  3. 3 Save the settings.
  4. 4 Click Test settings — we send a real test message to your own email so you can confirm it arrives.

If the test email does not arrive, check your spam folder first, then double-check the port and encryption pairing (587 with TLS, or 465 with SSL).
